Hope you’re as excited about the upcoming party as we are! We’ve heard lots of different questions from you, so I thought we’d answer a few of them here on the blog.
When does the party start?

Which mascot will be visiting? Will Aunt Arctic be here this year?
Rockhopper will be here on his own this year to give more people the chance to meet him! You can bet he’ll be telling fantastical, festive stories and causing a ruckus with snowball fights at the Dock and the Beach. He may even be giving out a new free background…
Where do I get the new Cookie, Blue Music Notes and Frozen Smiley emotes?
The new emotes are going to be added to the Emote menu in everyone’s chat bar December 20 to January 2! Here’s what you’ll see:
Use ’em like crazy, because they’ll only be available during the Holiday Party!
How do I win the holiday Igloo Contest?
The Holly Jolly Igloo Contest starts TODAY! Judges will be looking for creativity, originality, and tons of holiday cheer. For more details, check this week’s Club Penguin Times.

Exclusive: “My Penguin App” Coming SOON!?
Recently Spike Hike was online! Though I couldn’t catch him, something different appeared instead of a regular CP Room. This is what appeared on my Buddy list!
You can clearly see “My Penguin” as the “room” Spike Hike was on. This is another picture I got!

Once again Club Penguin has updated a file of theirs, this time with some interesting mobile related stuff! There are a total of seven commands having to do with a new app, dubbed the ‘My Penguin App’ as shown in the second line of the image below. The actual contents and release date of this application are unknown. For now we can only guess based on the functions in their files, but if more information becomes readily available I will definitely post it. Take a look:
Really, the only thing we know is that it involves throwing snowballs at penguins. The %0% if the variable for the penguin’s name. I think it is safe to assume it will be for both iOS and Android. If so, it is possible that the Android version will be released shortly after the iOS version.

Hey there, Penguins!
As you know, we’re always looking for ways to make Club Penguin even better.
The team is putting the finishing touches on an awesome new homepage with a fresh new look! I was able to grab this little sneak peek for you:
The new look will appear on the front page of clubpenguin.com starting this week. We’ll be updating the other pages to match the new style eventually, too. W00t!

Only a few days let until December… Which means it’s almost time for our annual Coins For Change event!
Every year the Club Penguin community helps us decide how we divide up a significant donation to worthy causes around the world. For this year’s Coins For Change, we’re giving $1 million USD!
There will be three different causes to choose from:
